Because a big passion of ours is helping startups. We think a lot about what issues they face, and how we can serve them best. With that, from our marketing seat, we’ve noticed these three most common obstacles facing start-ups.
You know you have an awesome product, maybe some technology or just a problem you know you want to solve. But after that, then what? Here are your first three biggest obstacles:
- Know What You’re Selling: Sometimes folks can’t explain the product simply. That’s first. But past that, do you know what you’re actually selling to the customer? What pain point are you solving? That’s what they are buying.
- Clear on Who You Are Selling To: It may seem obvious, but sometimes it can be surprisingly complex finding the category or sub-category of audience members is critical to your success. Have to keep diving deeper… what is the smallest, most targeted market (or markets) we can reach?
- To Begin. Begin: We say this a lot in our house. When it comes to marketing (and specifically content marketing) — don’t stay stuck. Just start. Start writing. Start blogging. Start posting. Just start getting your passion out there and see what happens.
Of course, we’re here to help where we can. So let us know how we can help you remove these obstacles with you.
